Random Logan Updates

Logan is now is the next classroom at daycare, he has been there for a few months now and he loves it. They moved him to a toddler bed so he goes to sleep with all the kids in his class. I was very worried that he would then want to start climbing out of his crib at home, but he has adjusted well! He sleeps in his toddler bed without his pacifier at school and at home he sleeps in his crib with his pacifier. since he isn't using it at school, I know he doesn't need it, but I talked to his pediatrician and she said no need to worry about the paci yet, said he needed to get rid of it by 3. so we will work on that later! He is also starting to sit on the potty at school. It's like a little group fun time at school when they go, so he likes it, not so impressed with it at home, guess it's not as fun when you don't have a friend right next to you! He has gone in the potty a few times at school, but not consistently.

I am amazed daily on how much he is learning, he can now sing the ABC's, old mcdonald, twinkle twinkle, and many other songs that I don't even know! He can also count to 10 and is speaking in sentences, one if his favorites "mommy, what you doin?" or "where did daddy go?".

Right now he is sick, think he has a cold, plus some bug that is going around daycare, but he is still pretty happy, sleeping pretty well. We are doing breathing treatments, which he is pretty used too, likes to hold the mask and shoves it into his face the whole time.

I also took him to a charity photo contest a few weeks ago. They was no one there so they took a lot of time with Logan. He was very scared so we didn't get any good shots for the first 30 minutes, then we took a break and went back and had a different photographer and he did a lot better. The contest was for Riley Hospital and they are having the judging this weekend. Its actually judged by real judges and not just votes, so we'll see how Logan does!
Here are a couple of his pictures:

This is his first shot, not too happy here...

I gave Logan my phone to try to make him happy and he actually figured out how to call daddy, daddy wasn't around, so he didn't answer, but was amazed that he called him!

This is the shot that we submitted, it was the best one so we'll see how it goes!

Logan also started soccer this past weekend, he is in a class for 2-3 year olds. It was so cute! He has an english soccer coach so it seems so authentic! I wasn't sure if he was going to actually loosen up and play, but it only took him a couple of minutes of being attached to us before he started to play. The coach actually had them do little drills, he listened to the coach when he talked, and followed along some of the time :) He is good at doing the soccer stance, putting one foot on the ball, but some of the other things he asked them to do, Logan just looked at him like he was crazy! He wasn't so great at the no hands thing, but he had a lot of fun, running around and playing. It was 45 minutes and he was did great until the last few minutes when he was just done, but I can't wait for him to get better! We have to miss this weekend because he has his 2 year photo shoot this weekend, hopefully he is more comfortable this time than the last shoot!
