Big Boy Bed

We changed Logan's bed into the toddler bed a few weeks ago.  Over Christmas he got pretty sick with a stomach virus and a respiratory virus that had him coughing a lot and throwing up a few times.  So because he was so upset we let him sleep out of his crib on the floor for a few nights.  After that we knew we weren't getting him back in his crib, so went ahead and made it into a toddler bed.  But now he doesn't want to sleep in it!  He has been sleeping on his floor for weeks and has no interested in sleeping in his bed again.  I think it's because we have been laying with him and cuddling when he was really sick, so now he likes it.  We do too also cause he is so cute, had gotten a lot more cuddly since we started this.  I love it!  We are now working on stopping this though and it's going okay, we still cuddle some, but get out of the room before he actually falls asleep.  Only issue is he keeps getting up at like 5:30 and I can't stay in his room cause my alarm will go off before he is asleep again (takes him awhile), so we have been letting him in our bed the last couple nights.  He does good at lying still, but coughs!  So we can't really sleep through that well.  So Wyatt is sleeping great, but we are now working on Logan.  He gave up his nap during the holidays when he was home for so long.  Which at first worked out great, he was so tired he was asleep by 7:30, then he got used to it and it was back to 8:30-9.  Since daycare started back up he is napping again, anywhere from 1-2 hours and still isn't falling asleep at home till 9ish.  This is what he did before, but we just didn't stay in the room with him till 9.  So now we are trying to work our way back out.  I sometimes give him melatonin, my doctor suggested it because it naturally helps him fall asleep, he was taking 45 mins to get to sleep.  It does help, but he still fights sleep like no other.  Has so many excuses and half the time they are valid, or you say no because of some reason and he comes up with a solution.  It is both funny and frustrating!

Hopefully soon we can convince him to actually sleep in his bed again too, he asked for spiderman sheets so Nana is making those for him. Not sure if they will go over well or not, he asked for 5 different kinds before he said spiderman, so who knows if that is what he will want when he gets them!

He is so funny, he makes Wyatt laugh so easily, Wyatt loves to watch him and always want to be where he is.  He tells us that Wyatt is his best friend.  So he is really an awesome little man!

Think I have hit the highlights of our life right now!
