We went to Logan's friend from school's 4th birthday party this weekend and it was so much fun. It was an outdoor party and really hot out so it was a little miserable for Jason and I, but the kids had a wonderful time. Logan was a little cautious when we first got there because there was a lot of people he didn't know right by the entrance who were all trying to talk to him. But once Makenna and her mom came over and Logan saw the big bounce house, he was good! Watching Logan play with his friends was so much fun. We never get to see him interact with them for more than a few minutes when we are dropping off or picking up. There were 5 or so kids from school there, all girls of course, and Logan played great with them all. His best friend though is Sofie and once she showed up they were attached at the hip. There were lots of love confessions on both sides and they had a blast. Jason took Wyatt into the bouce house and he held his own with all the 3/4 year olds jumping around him. He has some great balance for a 13 month old!

Wyatt just wandered around the backyard playing with all the toys, the water table, the sprinkler, etc. Found out he can climb up a slide!
We stayed for over 3 hours and that night Logan crashed in about 2 minutes and even the next time went to sleep really fast. That is pretty unusual for him, he takes awhile to wind down and finally fall asleep normally, so this was great!
I am so glad we got to see him with all his friends. I would like to do that same thing for his 4th bday but he will probably be at a new school by then as will all his friends, so not sure if it will work. But this was a lot of fun!
